CT EAPA Nov 21 Meeting · Identifying & Treating  Addiction in the Workforce

Date: Thursday, Nov 21, 2019
Time: 8:30 – 11:00 am
Topic: Identifying & Treating  Addiction in the Workforce
Speaker: Robert Matylewicz, DO, Medical Director, Clarity Way
Location: Gaylord Hospital, Wallingford

Message from the President

When viewed through the lens of Employee Assistance, my holiday
observance is very similar to an exercise in mindfulness. Traditionally, I
give thanks for what I have been bestowed over the previous year, I
reflect on how I fit into the bigger scheme of life, I take time to enjoy
family, friends and food. My morning begins with a 5k race that’s adds
to the day’s festivities followed by the final prepping and cooking for
the 1:00 arrival of guests. Somehow, throughout the entire day,
nothing existing outside of my view seems to matter. We all have our
own customs and rituals. On this day, I wish that all of you will feel the
same serenity in the moment that I do.
